500% Dividend: IT stock jumps 4% after announcing Q3 result & record date for dividend

During Friday’s trading session, the shares of a leading provider of financial and commercial solutions to the Airline and Travel industry surged nearly 4 percent to Rs. 1,559 on BSE, following the announcement of its Q3 FY25 financial results and the Record Date for Rs. 50 dividend. 

With a market cap of Rs. 2,298.6 crores, at 11:13 a.m., the shares of Accelya Solutions India Limited were trading in green at Rs. 1,540 on BSE, up by nearly 2.7 percent, as compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 1,499.7. 

What’s the news

The fluctuations in the share prices were observed after Accelya Solutions India Limited announced the financial results for Q3 FY25 and the record date for dividends, through the recent filings with the stock exchanges. 

For Q3 FY25, Accelya Solutions reported revenue from operations of Rs. 133 crores, reflecting a significant growth of around 4.7 percent QoQ from Rs. 127 crores in Q2 FY25, and increased by about 6.7 percent YoY from Rs. 124.7 crores in Q2 FY24. 

The company’s net profit for Q3 FY25 stood at Rs. 32.4 crores, representing a slight decline of around 0.3 percent QoQ from Rs. 32.5 crores in Q2 FY25, but a year-on-year marginal growth of nearly 4.5 percent from Rs. 31 crores in Q2 FY24. 

Further, the Board of Accelya Solutions has declared an interim dividend of Rs. 50 per share, with the record date set for Thursday, 30th January 2025. The dividend payout is scheduled for Tuesday, 18th February 2025. 

Stock Performance

The stock has delivered negative returns of nearly 16.5 percent in one year, as well as around 18.5 percent returns in the last six months. However, the shares of Accelya Solutions India have given positive returns of about 2.2 percent in the last one month.
