Police destroy cannabis worth ₹16 lakh in Udupi district

The Udupi district police destroyed seized cannabis worth about ₹16 lakh at a facility on Friday, January 24, in Padubidri.

As much as 27.97 kg cannabises that was seized by different police stations worth ₹16,62,804 was destroyed at Ayush Envirotech Pvt., Ltd., in Padubidri, police said.

Superintendent of Police and District Drug Disposal Committee Chairman K. Arun, Deputy Superintendents of Police D.T. Prabhu and Aravinda Kalagujji, and other officers were present.
