Collector T. Charushree has called upon the biology and pharmacy students in Tiruvarur district to avail the opportunity to serve in the Indian Air Force as medical assistants and pharmacists for which a recruitment drive had been planned by the IAF between January 29 and February 5.
In a press release, the Collector pointed out that the IAF was looking for students in the 17-21 age group and cleared their Class 12 (with Biology) examinations for the post of medical assistants and the degree or diploma holders in pharmacy in the 19-24 age group for the appointment as pharmacists.
While the recruitment drive for the post of medical assistants would be held on January 29 and 30 at the Maharajah College grounds, P.T. Usha Road, Shenoys, Ernakulam, the selection drive for pharmacists would be held at the same venue on February 4 and 5. Details can be had from www.airmenselection.cdac.in , the release added.
