On the occasion of the Makar Sankranti festival, the 19th Snehamela of the women’s group “Aamhi Saryajani” was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy in Bibwewadi. Sharing and exchanging tokens of happiness, the gathering was filled with warmth and togetherness.  

All the women dressed in festive black attire for the occasion, and a variety of talent showcases were performed. The event began with a Ganesh Vandana presented by Pooja Mokashi. Renowned theater actress Veena Phadke captivated everyone with her solo performance. Traditional performances such as Dindi, Jogwa, and Lavani by Manisha Saraf, Shubhada Mitragotri, and Pushpa Kulkarni were widely appreciated.  

Shubhada Joshi demonstrated the importance of music therapy with live examples, and her performance of the song *”Bai Mee Patang Udavit Hote”* had everyone dancing. Shubhada Udgavkar paid tribute to Waheeda Rehman through graceful acting and dance. Gautami Kulkarni’s poetry recital *”Gavat Fula”* brought back nostalgic school memories for the audience. Rajeshwari Ambike’s melodious rendition of ghazals left everyone spellbound.  

Group leader Vandana Ghanekar, along with Manisha Sane, presented *”Magova”*, a poetic exploration of women’s imagery, which was well-received. Kanchan Gijre’s soulful singing, Madhuri and Shubhada’s synchronized *”Zunkoo Luku Zunkoo Luku”* dance, and Aarti Kale’s innovative YouTube-inspired recipe segment were highlights that delighted the crowd.

Women from various regions came together to revel in this joyous occasion. Poetry, songs, solo performances, and interactive activities made the event unforgettable.
