The Department of Fisheries is inviting applications for the vacancies of clinical psychology counsellor on a contractual basis to ensure the mental health of students, who are children of fishers, studying in 10 Fisheries High Schools in the State.
One counsellor will be appointed for two nearby districts. Qualification required is PG in Psychology/Counselling or Clinical Psychology or MSW (Medical and Psychiatry) with 3 years of experience in the government sector. Preference will be given to candidates who are children of fishers or those from the fishing community. Age limit is 25-45 years.
