US: 4 Cops Sustain Bullet Injuries In San Antonio Shooting, Scene Still Active
According to the police, all four officers had suffered non-life-threatening injuries and the site is still active

Four US police officers were shot in a shootout that took place in Stone Oak, San Antonio on Thursday.
As per San Antonio Police Chief William McManus, the four officers who suffered injuries were responding to a “suicide in progress" call at the Sonterra Heights Apartments on Stone Oak Parkway.

The police said that all four SAPD officers had suffered non-life-threatening injuries, reported local media outlet KSAT.
The officers were rushed to a hospital where they are receiving medical treatment.
The police officers got injured during the exchange of heavy gunfire between San Antonio Police and the suspect who had ambushed the officers from the building.

The authorities have asked locals to avoid the area of the shooting because it is still “very active."
“ACTIVE SCENE: Please avoid the area of Stone Oak Pkwy/ Loop 1604, as officers are working an active scene. Expect traffic delays due to possible closures," said San Antonio Police Department in a post on X.
As per reports, the suspect has been barricaded in the apartment building.
The community and the law enforcement are on a high alert in the wake of the incident.
