Abhishek Bachchan might not have many hit films to his name, however, over the years, the actor has managed to establish his own path despite belonging to a prolific Bollywood family and being the husband of global superstar Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Abhishek Bachchan has proved his acting prowess right from his debut in Refugee to films like Sarkar, Guru, Ghoomer, Dasvi, and I Want To Talk. In a recent interview with CNBC-TV18, Abhishek Bachchan candidly spoke about his family and his hopes to leave his and Aishwarya Rai's daughter Aaradhya with a 'tangible legacy'. In the same interview, Abhishek Bachchan also spoke about his deep respect for his parents, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan.

Answering whether he is religious or not, Abhishek Bachchan said, "I don’t know if I am overtly religious. I have my equation with God, but before I go to God, I go to my parents. I think they should be the first people you lean on. To me, they are equivalent to God. I’m what I am because of my family. I am a very family-oriented person. Everything I do, I do for my family, and they are my go-to people."

When asked if he goes to his family for support during tough times, Abhishek Bachchan said, "As long as you can go home to a loving, supportive, healthy, and happy family, I think you’re good. My family’s opinion matters the most to me."

On the topic of leaving a legacy behind for Aaradhya to take forward, Abhishek Bachchan then said, "I think I should work towards leaving something tangible for my daughter, apart from creativity. That’s why I look at the work I do beyond acting as an endeavour to achieve that, whether it’s through sports or other businesses that I get involved in."
