The students of Teresian College, Siddharthanagar, Mysuru have brought laurels to their institution by winning multiple gold medals and cash prizes, at the 105th annual convocation of the University of Mysore recently. The convocation was held at Crawford Hall in University of Mysore campus and the students celebrated their academic excellence.
Sister Vivina Sweedal Thoras (MSc Botany) won an outstanding 10 gold medals and two cash prizes for her exemplary performance. Likewise, Soundarya S. (BA) excelled in Economics with four gold medals and five cash prizes, and also received one cash prize for Political Science, a press release said here.
Anushka Dechamma Chappudera (BA Optional English) secured three gold medals and two cash prizes for her academic distinction. Likitha G. (BSc.Chemistry) of the college won two gold medals for her achievement. Rajarajeshwari A. (BSc Zoology) was awarded one gold medal.
The college management said in its release that Teresian College, founded with a mission to empower young women through education, has consistently produced outstanding graduates who have excelled in academics, leadership, and community service. The management and staff of Teresian College have expressed happiness over the students’ remarkable achievements.
