The Maha Kumbh Mela is the world’s largest religious gathering and takes place every 12 years. The Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 is expected to attract over 400 million (40 crore) pilgrims from around the world.
The 2025 event will be held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, from January 13 to February 26. Devotees will gather at the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati, to take holy dips.
