Kanpur: A woman, residing in Bharua Sumerpur, filmed a social media reel on the Yamuna River railway bridge along the Kanpur-Banda route which subsequently gained widespread attention online. Such activities are forbidden by railway regulations.
Following the reel's circulation, local authorities, including RPF and GRP, initiated a search operation for the woman who later removed the content from her profile to evade legal consequences. TOI, however, does not verify the authenticity of the viral content.
The woman regularly creates and shares social media content from various public locations. On Saturday, she posted a reel on her social media platform whose footage was captured on the Yamuna River railway bridge connecting Kanpur and Banda, where such activities are strictly forbidden by railway regulations. Nevertheless, she proceeded with filming, disregarding these restrictions.

Station officer Anoop Kumar Singh said that efforts to find the woman are continuing. The RPF Ghatampur outpost head Rajkumar, said they are reviewing the situation and working to establish her residence. Appropriate legal measures would be implemented once she is located, he added.
