Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt was spotted visiting Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai today, January 20, 2025, to check on his friend and fellow actor Saif Ali Khan. The seasoned actor arrived in his usual composed demeanour, donning a casual yet stylish outfit, as he made his way into the hospital premises.

A video of Dutt entering the hospital has been circulating on social media now. Sanjay Dutt and Saif Ali Khan share a bond that goes beyond the glitz and glamour of Bollywood. They have been seen supporting each other often.\

Saif’s younger sister, Saba Pataudi, had also expressed her feelings on social media, calling the incident “traumatic" while praising her brother’s resilience. “I’m in shock and still processing this insane incident. But Bhaijaan, you’ve shown immense strength. Abba would be so proud. Get well soon, and know you’re always in my prayers," she wrote.

On January 16 early morning, Saif Ali Khan was repeatedly stabbed six times with a knife by a robber inside his Bandra apartment. He underwent two surgeries and currently remains under observation. He is unlikely to be discharged soon.

The Mumbai Police has now arrested the attacker, Bangladeshi resident Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, 30. He has been sent to five-day police custody. The police are also expected to recreate the crime scene at the Bandra home of Saif Ali Khan.

Explaining how the accused managed to enter the house where the Khan family live with their children and domestic staff, an official had said earlier.

“He entered the duct area, climbed to the 12th floor using a pipe and entered the actor’s flat through a bathroom window. He then came out from the bathroom, where the actor’s staff spotted him, leading to the chain of events that culminated into the knife attack."

Investigations are ongoing.
