Kansas City police share more details in crash outside of Arrowhead on Saturday

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police have released more information regarding the crash outside of Arrowhead Stadium Saturday night after the Chiefs vs Texans game.

According to KCPD, at about 7 p.m., a man driving an SUV was leaving his parking space, when he had a medical emergency causing him to lose consciousness. Police told FOX4 that the man had a heart attack.

When he lost consciousness, he crashed into two unoccupied pickup trucks.

Four bystanders suffered minor to moderate injuries and refused medical treatment at the scene.

The passenger of the SUV was able to shut down the vehicle. The driver was taken to a hospital where he remains critical but stable.
