Mumbai-Pune, January 20, 2025: Motorists traveling on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway should brace for traffic disruptions from January 22 to January 24, 2025. The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) will be carrying out bridge girder installation work at Km 58/500 (Dongargav/Kusgav) on the Mumbai-bound lane of the expressway.
The scheduled work will take place from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM on the mentioned dates, leading to a temporary rerouting of traffic. During this period, vehicles traveling from Mumbai to Pune will be diverted from the expressway at Km 54/700 near Wavhan to the Dehuroad route towards Pune. However, traffic heading from Pune to Mumbai will continue to operate smoothly on the expressway.
The traffic diversion will last until 3:00 PM each day, after which the diverted vehicles from Mumbai will be allowed to resume their journey on the original route. Travelers are urged to plan their trips accordingly to avoid delays.
For further assistance or if any difficulties arise while traveling on the expressway, motorists can contact the Mumbai-Pune Expressway Control Room at 9822498224 or the National Highway Police at 9833498334. Authorities recommend that commuters use alternative routes for the three days to avoid congestion and ensure smooth travel.
Travelers are advised to remain updated on any developments and adjust their schedules to account for potential traffic jams during the specified hours.
