Two women pradhans invited to R-Day parade in Delhi as special guests
Bahraich: Two women village heads from Bahraich district have been invited as special guests to the Republic Day Parade in New Delhi.
District magistrate, Bahraich, Monika Rani said that gram pradhan of Banglachak, Uma Devi, and pradhan of Anganapara village, Kiran Shukla, have been invited as special guests to the Republic Day Parade.
"Their selection comes in recognition of their work in achieving 100% implementation of various govt schemes under the guidance of chief development officer (CDO) Mukesh Chandra. These schemes include Har Ghar Jal Yojana, PM Awas Yojana (Rural), Mission Indradhanush, Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Matru Vandana Yojana, among others," she said.
"This recognition highlights the transformative leadership of these women in driving rural development and implementing welfare initiatives effectively. The district celebrates this achievement as a matter of pride and inspiration, showcasing the role of women in shaping a progressive future for their communities," the DM said.
