Kangana Ranaut Says She’s Made Peace With Karan Johar And Diljit Dosanjh: 'I'm Open To Appreciate...'
Kangana Ranaut has addressed questions about reconciling with Karan Johar and Diljit Dosanjh, stating that she is at peace with both but doesn't see the need to be friends.

Actor Kangana Ranaut has addressed a question about whether she is ready to “smoke the peace pipe" with filmmaker Karan Johar and singer Diljit Dosanjh. In an interview with The New Indian, Kangana revealed that she has made peace with both, but clarified that she doesn’t feel the need to be friends with them.
Kangana explained, “I’m in peace with them. I’m totally in peace with them. When I see a great piece of work whether it is Shershaah coming from Karan Johar or whether something coming from Diljit, I’m very open to appreciate it. It’s just that, do I have to make them my friends or hang out with them? I don’t think that’s important. But do I have anything against them? No, I don’t think so, I have anything against them."

The feud between Kangana and Diljit dates back to 2020 during the farmers’ protests. Kangana had accused Diljit of instigating the protests and claimed he “disappeared" from the scene after voicing his support for the farmers. Diljit, however, refuted her statements, defending the protests and engaging in a heated exchange with her on X (formerly Twitter).
Kangana’s history with Karan Johar has also been marked by tension. On an episode of Koffee with Karan in 2017, she famously referred to him as “the flag-bearer of nepotism" during his Rapid Fire segment, leaving him visibly surprised. Karan later defended his contributions to the industry, stating that while he hasn’t worked with Kangana, it was out of choice, not because she is an outsider.
Despite the clashes, Kangana recently commented on her willingness to collaborate with Karan. During her appearance on Indian Idol 15, when asked if she would work with Dharma Productions, Kangana responded, “I’m sorry to say, but Karan sir ko mere saath movie karna chahiye. I’ll give him a very good role and I’ll make a very good film, which will not be saas-bahu ki chuglibaazi and which will not be just, you know, PR exercise. It will be a proper film and he’ll get a proper role."
