22 sovereigns of gold jewellery stolen in Kollengode

A house under the Kollengode police station limit was found broken into and 22 sovereigns of gold jewellery were stolen.

According to the police, Subha Lalitha, who resides with her family near Kollengode, had left for Hyderabad on January 11. She returned on Sunday morning and found that her house had been broken into and 22 sovereigns of gold jewellery were missing.

Ms. Lalitha immediately lodged a complaint at the nearby Kollengode police station and investigations are currently underway.
