DKS calls ED’s Muda findings a plot against CM

Belagavi: A day after the enforcement directorate (ED) uncovered illicit assets linked to a real estate businessman during its investigation into the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (Muda) case, deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar on Saturday claimed it is a political conspiracy targeting chief minister Siddaramaiah and his family.
"A case involves a long process of investigation. It is the court's responsibility to determine any irregularities, not ours. This is a political conspiracy against the chief minister and his family. Neither the CM nor his wife is involved in any irregularities. Let us focus on the state's issues," Shivakumar stated.
Meanwhile, IT-BT and rural development minister Priyank Kharge clarified in Bengaluru, "The ED investigation concerns the entire Muda proceedings and not Siddaramaiah's 14 sites. Let the investigation proceed. We are neither interfering nor trying to scuttle the investigation."
