Women rally on bikes for autism awareness in Bengaluru
Bengaluru: In a show of solidarity, Arya Vysya Ladies Group International (AVLGI) organised a vibrant bike rally Saturday to raise awareness for children with autism. With more than 100 women participants, the event began in VV Puram and culminated at Malleswaram grounds.
The rally was flagged off by special educator Jayashree Rajanahally, who expressed her heartfelt support for the education of special-needs children. "My heart always supports educating any special kids," she said.
Kavitha Eragam, founder and international president of AVLGI, remarked, "As mothers ourselves, we understand the importance of supporting all children, especially those with unique needs. Through this rally and our donation, AVLGI is proud to make a difference for autistic kids." The event was spearheaded by Kavitha and head office public image director Anjali Sreenath.
The rally was actively supported by various AVLGI wings, including those from Basavanagudi, Jayanagar, JP Nagar, Girinagar, BTM Layout, Uttarahalli, KR Pura, Malleswaram, and Banashankari, who rode with passion and displayed placards in support of autism awareness.
