New Delhi – Mercedes-Benz India stole the spotlight at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 with its striking “Arena of Desire” pavilion. Combining futuristic electric vehicle technology and timeless luxury, the carmaker unveiled its most exclusive BEVs (Battery Electric Vehicles), including the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV ‘Night Series’, and offered a glimpse into its ambitious electric future through the Concept CLA Class.
Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV ‘Night Series’ Debuts in India
Launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.63 crore, the all-electric Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV ‘Night Series’ marks a new era for Maybach’s craftsmanship and electric innovation. Handcrafted with unparalleled precision, this top-tier BEV seamlessly merges luxury with cutting-edge electric drive technology. The ‘Night Series’ design adds an extra layer of sophistication, with unique accents like dark chrome pinstripes, a rose-gold Maybach emblem on the headlights, and an aerodynamic rear roof spoiler.

The Visionary Concept CLA Class
The showstopper of the Mercedes-Benz pavilion was the futuristic Concept CLA Class, based on the company’s innovative Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA) platform. Designed as a hyper-efficient “one-litre car” of the electric age, the Concept CLA boasts a range of over 750 km (WLTP) while consuming just 12 kWh/100 km.
“The Concept CLA represents our vision for the next generation of BEVs, offering long-range efficiency, sustainable materials, and the all-new MB.OS operating system,” added Iyer.

Mercedes-Benz showcased its diverse range of luxury and performance vehicles at the Expo, reflecting its leadership in innovation and sustainability:
– Mercedes-Benz G 580 with EQ Technology: The first fully-electric G-Class, combining the ruggedness of its iconic design with advanced features like torque vectoring and the revolutionary ‘G-TURN,’ which allows the SUV to pivot on loose surfaces.
– Mercedes-AMG SL 55 4MATIC+: The seventh-generation roadster, developed entirely by AMG, epitomizes elegance and performance.
– Mercedes-AMG S 63 E PERFORMANCE: The pinnacle of luxury and motorsport-inspired hybrid technology.
– LWB E-Class E 450 4MATIC AMG Line: India’s most powerful locally-assembled E-Class, powered by a 3.0L six-cylinder petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology.
Showcasing Technological Marvels
Mercedes-Benz also demonstrated the G-TURN feature on the electric G 580. This first-of-its-kind capability enables the vehicle to perform up to two complete revolutions on loose or unpaved surfaces, showcasing the possibilities of precision off-road technology.
