New snow totals for Sunday’s storm
(WBRE/WYOU)— A developing storm system to our south will spread snow into the region by midday on Sunday.
This will continue into Sunday night.
It looks like two to four inches in the valleys and four to eight in the higher elevations.

The snow should move out of the area by Monday, with very dangerous cold air moving in for the rest of the week.
It’s expected to be mostly cloudy Saturday night with rain and snow showers coming to an end with temperatures near average, in the mid-20s.
It could be breezy with highs in the upper 30s.
Saturday night may be mostly cloudy and cold with lows in the mid 20’s.
A winter storm will develop and track along the east coast on Sunday.
While the exact track will determine how much snow accumulates here, periods of snow are likely Sunday afternoon and night.
Several inches of snow will accumulate by Monday morning.
Sunday will be mostly cloudy with snow developing with highs in the upper 20’s.
Then, the early part of next week will be frigid.
Martin Luther King Day will bring some more sun, but will be very cold. Highs in the upper teens.
On Tuesday, we might see more clouds move in with bitterly cold temperatures with highs in the low teens.
Wednesday could have more clouds with an arctic chill in the air with highs in the mid-teens.
PennDOT to implement restrictions ahead of Sunday storm
In the morning, temperatures will be in the single digits, above and below zero.
Gusty winds have the potential to put wind chills between -10° and -20°.
Temperatures may moderate towards the end of next week.
Thursday might see a start of a bit of a warm-up with more sun and highs in the mid-20s.
Friday should be near 30° and Saturday getting into the mid-30s.
As the core of the cold moves away, there is the potential for another winter storm.
