Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy hailed former Union Minister late S. Jaipal Reddy for his decisive role in the formation of Telangana and said his contribution can never be forgotten.

The Chief Minister garlanded the portrait of eminent Parliamentarian Jaipal Reddy on the occasion of his birth anniversary on January 16, in New Delhi.

Praising the late leader, the Chief Minister said that Jaipal Reddy ascended the ladder of political career from village level to Delhi strictly practising moral values. He left an indelible mark on Indian politics and was awarded the best Parliamentarian in the country for his valuable contribution to the Parliamentary system.

Jaipal Reddy also left his mark through his remarkable speeches as an MLA in the Assembly of erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh apart from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, he said. Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Zaheerabad MP Suresh Shetkar, Bellampalli and Parigi MLAs Gaddam Vinod and Rammohan Reddy, State government Advisor Shabbir Ali, Congress leaders Rohin Reddy and Vidyasagar were present.
