Q3 Results 2025 Highlights 16th January 2025: Infosys Q3 net profit rises 11.46% y-o-y to ₹6,806 crore; Axis Bank Q3 profit climbs to ₹6,304 crore; Reliance Industries, LTIMindtree, Hatsun, Havells to announce results today

Private sector major Axis Bank on Thursday reported a 4 per cent y-o-y rise in its net profit for the quarter ended December at ₹6,304 crore, led by stable core income growth. On a q-o-q basis, however, the bottomline was down 9 per cent due to lower growth in other income.

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd (SWREL) on Thursday posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 17.14 crore for December quarter FY25 mainly on the back of higher revenues.

The company had incurred a net loss of Rs 62.39 crore in the year-ago, period, according to a BSE filing.

Total income rose to Rs 1,842.67 crore from Rs 610.31 crore in the same period a year ago. - PTI

Infosys recorded its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended December 2024 at ₹6,822 crore (before minority interest) as against ₹6,113 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. 

Shares, on Thursday, ended 1.52% lower on the NSE at ₹1,920.05.

Axis Bank recorded its standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2024 at ₹6303.8 crore as against ₹6071.1 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Shares closed 1.68% higher on the NSE at ₹1,044.

Khaitan Chemicals and Fertilizers recorded its net profit for the quarter ended December 2024 at ₹125.6 crore as against the net loss of ₹270 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Stock rallied 14.83% on the NSE to ₹74.79

Kesoram Industries recorded its consolidated net loss for the quarter ended December 2024 at ₹18.34 crore as against the loss of ₹13.62 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Stock traded at ₹205.03 on the NSE, positive by 1.16%.

Spencer’s Retail’s consolidated net loss declined to ₹47.34 crore in the quarter ended December 2024 from ₹51.20 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Stock fell 5.90% on the NSE to ₹87.15

Alok Industries’ net loss for the quarter ended December 2024 widened nearly 19% to ₹272.99 crore from ₹229.92 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Stock declined 2.25% on the NSE to ₹20.41.

Bhansali Engineering board has declared interim dividend of ₹1, Jan 22 as record date.

Company recorded its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended December 2024 at ₹40.83 crore as against ₹40.22 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Shares traded at ₹127.90 on the NSE, higher by 4.38%.

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy recorded its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended December 2024 at ₹17.14 crore as against the loss of ₹62.39 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Shares traded soared 7.97% on the NSE to ₹458.15.

Reliance Industrial Infrastructure Ltd on Wednesday reported a 24 per cent decline in its third-quarter net profit as lower utilisation of infrastructure assets led to a fall in revenue.

Consolidated net profit in October-December - the third quarter of April 2024 to March 2025 (FY25) fiscal - fell to ₹2.74 crore from ₹3.62 crore a year back, the company said in a statement.

Its revenue fell 9.4 per cent to ₹18.60 crore from ₹20.52 crore in October-December 2023.

Shares traded at ₹1,026.50 on the NSE, up 1.43% as at 12.50 on Jan 16.

D.B.Corp recorded its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended December 2024 at ₹118.21 crore as against ₹123.98 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Shares slip 0.69% on the NSE to ₹267.85.

Shares of Havells traded at ₹1,553.60 on the NSE, up 1.75% as at 11.47 am, ahead of Q3 results today.

Shares of Axis Bank traded flat on the NSE at ₹1,035.80 ahead of Q3 results.

Trent board to consider and approve financial results on Feb 6

Shares traded 1.80% lower on the NSE at ₹6,275.

HDFC Life Insurance shares soared 9.98% on the NSE to ₹653.50. 

HDFC Life on Wednesday reported a 14 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 415 crore in the December quarter.

The private sector insurer’s profit stood at Rs 365 crore in the year-ago period, HDFC Life said in a regulatory filing.

However, total income declined to Rs 16,914 crore in the latest quarter from Rs 26,694 crore in the year-ago period.

The company’s solvency ratio also declined to 188 per cent from 190 per cent as on December 31, 2023 as against the regulatory requirement of 150 per cent.

For the nine-month period ended December, the life insurer posted a profit of Rs 1,326 crore as against Rs 1,157 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.

Shares plummet 5.84% on the BSE to ₹2,879.

IT behemoth Infosys, which is set to announce its Q3FY25 results on January 16, might alter its guidance yet again, say analysts. In Q2, Infosys revised its revenue growth guidance for the seventh time in eight quarters to 3.75-4.5 per cent in constant currency (cc) terms. Some other key performance indicators are listed below:

Revenue growth

According to a poll of brokerages, revenue in the quarter ended in December is predicted to be around ₹41,756—₹41,876 crore, a sequential improvement from last quarter’s ₹40,986 crore. The quarter-on-quarter (q-o-q) revenue growth forecast for Q3 is set at 0.3 to 1 per cent in cc terms.
