In an interview with Galatta, Shilpa candidly spoke about the situation and responded to the trolling directed at her family. When asked about the absence of social media shoutouts from Mahesh Babu and Namrata, she made her stance clear, saying, “Oh my God! Come on! You’re not gonna judge a relationship based on a post. It’s ridiculous! And truly honestly, yeh seekha hai maine Bigg Boss ke ghar mein (And honestly, this is what I have learned inside the Bigg Boss house): I don’t care what people say. I know what my family means to me. I know how much I mean to them. And I know that’s all that matters."

Shilpa went on to emphasize that public perceptions or judgments would never impact the close bond she shares with her family. She reassured fans that her relationships remain strong, regardless of what others might think.
Reflecting on her time in the Bigg Boss house, Shilpa also revealed that she deeply regretted a significant argument she had with her sister Namrata before entering the show. Speaking to filmmaker Anurag Kashyap during her time on the show, she admitted missing her family deeply during her stay.
