Just two weeks into 2025, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is already letting her New Year resolutions go, but not completely. On Thursday, January 16, the actress, who recently recovered from chikungunya, shared a reel on her Instagram account, informing her fans that she is letting go of her resolutions. However, Samantha ain’t giving up on her goals. Instead, she is “trying something different" this year.
The reel opened with the Citadel: Honey Bunny actress cosily tucked inside her bed. Following this, she was seen doing some light exercises at a gym. In another segment of the reel, Samantha could be seen in a green athleisure outfit and doing her workout using equipment like dumbbells and kettlebells, among others.

Samantha, who often shares her candid and real self with her fans, talked about embracing the art of letting go. Along with the reel, she wrote, “Two weeks into the new year and your resolutions are already slipping? Same here! It has happened so many times."
However, a few bad days are not enough to dampen her zeal. The actress added, “But hey, a few bad days won’t mean we’re out. Sometimes we rest, sometimes we push-that’s just how it goes." Sharing that it’s completely alright to not stick to the resolutions, she continued, “If resolutions don’t stick, that’s no big deal. This year, I’m trying something different."
Samantha further revealed that for the next couple of weeks, she would share some simple workout rituals that have worked for her. “Small things that fit easily into my day and have made a real difference over time. Maybe they’ll work for you too." Samantha encouraged her fans, saying, “Let’s do this together. No pressure, no perfection. Just one small step at a time."
Sharing her reel to the song Zoo by Eluzai, Samantha wrote in the caption, “We got this," followed by a flexing biceps emoji.

Samantha’s post soon caught the attention of her fans, who praised the actress for being candid about her life and inspiring them. One fan said, “When they ask me who my inspiration is, I told them your name, and they went silent. Ultimate motivator ever! Haaaaaaa, we got thi,s Sam!" Another wrote, “We all needed to hear this."
