S.N. | Subject matter of the discussion/ Queries raised by the interested bidders | Clarification provided by the Bank | 1. | Queries raised on the clause ‘the bidder/firm must have certificate issued from Pollution Control Board (PCB) regarding the proposed disposal of the old batteries to be taken by the firm under buy-back'. M/s Power Solutions informed that they have applied for the certificate from PCB for disposal of batteries but not yet received. Will the certificate of PCB of authorized channel partner through which battery is to be disposed suffice the tender requirement? | As per the terms and conditions of the tender, the bidder/firm must have certificate issued from Pollution Control Board regarding the proposed disposal of the old batteries to be taken by the firm under buyback. In the absence of such a certificate, the firm may submit an undertaking on its letter head that if the firm become the successful bidder, it will dispose off the batteries through its authorized channel partner, who have a valid certificate issued by PCB for the same. The firm should enclose the valid certificates issued by PCB to its authorized channel partner in the Techno-commercial bid (Part-I) along with the undertaking. | 2. | Queries raised regarding “whether bid specific authorization is required for participating in the tender”. | As per the terms and conditions of the tender, OEM and authorized dealers having minimum 5 years’ experience in the field of work of similar nature are eligible for tender.
