Bokaro: Ex-Servicemen Welfare Council organized a commemorative event at Shaeed Udyan, City Park, marking the Golden Victory Day of the 1971 war. The ceremony honoured war veterans and paid tribute to martyrs who served in the historic war.
The chief general manager, BSL (town administration), Kundan Kumar attended as Chief Guest, alongside representatives from Vishva Hindu Parishad, RSS, Seva Bharti, and Sankalp Srijan.
Three distinguished war veterans - Bihari Singh, SK Singh, and Brinda Singh - were felicitated for their exemplary service during the 1971 war. They shared compelling stories of their wartime experiences with the audience.
The programme concluded with the rendering of the national anthem.
