Coimbatore: BJP national women's wing president Vanathi Srinivasan has questioned the silence of chief minister M K Stalin on reports that his family members met industrialist Gautam Adani.
Speaking to reporters in Coimbatore on Sunday, Vanathi said that though Stalin has clarified that he did not meet Adani, he has not clarified about BJP state president K Annamalai's charge that his son-in-law Sabareesan met Adani.
"They say the entire govt is run by the CM's son–in–law. So, the CM should clarify if his son-in-law met Adani," Vanathi said.
On flood management, Vanathi said all DMK ministers consider themselves as ‘kings' without understanding the plight of people. Hitting out at ministers for disregarding the anger of people due to floods, she said the DMK would suffer the consequences in the 2026 polls.
She also criticised the govt for ending the assembly session in a few days. "We are not able to speak about problems faced by the people in the short duration," she said.
