Ludhiana: A canter driver died when his truck collided with a vehicle near Bhadla village in Khanna on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Anwar Ali of of Haripur Barwala Road in Dera Bassi. His co-worker, Lucky of Chandigarh Road, suffered injuries. As per reports, the driver got stuck in the cabin as the front part of the canter got squashed in. On receiving information, Sadak Suraksha Force personnel arrived at the spot and rescued the driver. They sent the driver and his co-worker to hospital, where doctors declared the driver dead. They added that the truck was loaded with gas cylinders but an even bigger tragedy was averted.
