Nagpur: The operation of the down line was affected due to a welding crack on the railway track in the Chandrapur section of the Nagpur division of Central Railway on Sunday morning. Nagpur-Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express was halted at Hinganghat station for about an hour due to the crack.
According to information, a trackman found a welding crack on the track between Chikhli and Nagari stations, near gate number 24, at around 6am. The control room and concerned railway officials were informed. After the crack was repaired, passenger trains were allowed to depart. Later, the stranded Vande Bharat Express was allowed to depart for Secunderabad.
