Kanpur: A body was found under the Pandu river bridge on Sunday morning in the Kakwan area. The police reached the spot after locals and passersby alerted them. Station in-charge Avneesh Kumar Singh and his team recovered the body, which was identified as Ajay Singh Munna, aged 43, son of Nawab Singh from Bhavan Nivada village in Kasigwa Gram Panchayat. The police notified the family, who revealed that Munna was missing since Saturday morning and had a history of alcohol consumption. The station in-charge confirmed that the family does not suspect any wrongdoing, and the body was transported to Kanpur for post-mortem examination.tnn
