Varanasi: A 30-year-old youth, Vipin Saroj, grandson of Samajwadi Party's MP from Lalganj in Azamgarh district, Daroga Prasad Saroj, lost his life in an accident on Thursday night.
According to reports, Vipin was returning home on his motorcycle after attending a wedding when his bike was hit by a speeding SUV on the Lalganj Palhna road near Narsinghpur village in the Devgaon Kotwali area of Azamgarh district.
Vipin sustained severe injuries and was taken to a private hospital in Lalganj with the help of local people. Seeing his critical condition, the doctor referred him to Azamgarh. He was then taken to a private hospital in Azamgarh, where the doctor declared him dead.
