Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show (Spring 2025)
Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show is scheduled to open in Spring 2025. There is no set date yet for the grand opening.
"The Pirates Voyage show is unlike anything you have ever seen," said Ellen Liston, PR manager at Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show. "The pirates participate in sword fights, diving into the 15-foot lagoon, and interact with our audience. We play original music by Dolly Parton since we are a Dolly Parton company."
TopGolf (Summer 2025)
TopGolf has broken ground for its Panama City Beach location, which is now under construction.
”We are excited for TopGolf's arrival in Panama City Beach and believe it will be a great addition to our community – offering both residents and visitors the opportunity to brush up on their golf skills or explore golf for the very first time.” Mayor Stuart Tettemer said in a press release. “TopGolf's investment in PCB will not only enhance our city's entertainment options, but it will also be a great opportunity to gather, socialize and have some family-oriented fun. We welcome Topgolf and look forward to its opening day."
Gulf Coast Jam 2025
Gulf Coast Jam has announced its lineup for Spring 2025. Gulf Coast Jam 2025 will be at Frank Brown Park from May 29 to June 1.
The lineup will include Restless Road, NEEDTOBREATHE, Jordan Davis, Sam Hunt, Darryl Worley, Tyler Farr, Randy Houser, Lainey Wilson, Tyler Childers, and Blake Shelton.

New Pavilion at Aaron Bessant Park (Spring 2025)
Aaron Bessant Park is expecting some new facilities in 2025.
The new 4,800-square-foot pavilion includes replacing fencing and redoing the landscaping on West Park Drive, the road along the periphery of the park.
St. Andrews Mardi Gras (February 2025)
The largest and most popular Mardi Gras is coming to Panama City once again. Come see over 14 Krewes and over 30 brightly colored floats.
Mardi Gras will last from Feb. 21-23, with a jam packed schedule of events.
Beach renourishment in Mexico Beach (Spring 2025)
A project is expected to begin in Spring 2025. It will cover all 3 miles of the city shoreline of the Gulf of Mexico.
Mashburn Building in downtown Panama City (Late 2025)
A renovation project is underway. It will include residential units, commercial and a rooftop restaurant/bar.
St. Andrews Bay Yacht Club building
The club hopes to break ground on its new building in 2025.
Panama City road construction (Summer 2025)
A project to realign Star Avenue and Titus Road to meet at U.S. 231 will begin in summer.
Martin Luther King Jr. Rec Center (Third quarter 2025)
The new Martin Luther King Jr. Rec Center at 705 E. 14th Court in Panama City is expected to open during the third quarter. It will replace a building that was destroyed in 2018 by Hurricane Michael.
Redevelopment of Joe Moody Harris Park (Summer 2025)
The park, 803 N. Center Ave., was heavily damaged by Hurricane Michael. Construction should begin in Summer 2025.
Salt Creek at Mexico Beach (Early 2025)
Holiday Builders said it should have homes for sale in this development starting in early 2025.
