Varanasi: Maya Tissafi, the Swiss Ambassador to India and Bhutan, along with the Head of International Cooperation at the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) India office, Philippe Sas, and first secretary and head of Culture and Legal Affairs at the Embassy of Switzerland, Simon Schaefer, visited the IRRI– South Asia Regional Centre (ISARC), Varanasi, on Saturday. The visit aimed to strengthen partnerships and explore innovative approaches for sustainable agriculture and climate-resilient rice systems.
