Mysuru: Adichunchanagiri Mutt's Mysore branch head, Someshwaranatha Swami, on Sunday stressed the need to bring all faiths together, to live in harmony and peace for the progress of society.
He was speaking after launching the rath yatra for communal harmony organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) at the Chamundi Hills.
He said that the nation was invaded many times, which divided people. Even though we say we are united, we are divided emotionally. There is an urgent need to inculcate patriotism and nationalism among people all faiths, he said. VHP district unit Mahesh Kamath was present.
