Avoid Bumps in WTB

It seems we aren't allowed to bump WTB threads, and there isn't a "bump" button either, unlike FS threads (or I probably glossed over it). Is this the expected behaviour? My bump on an WTB thread was deleted with the message "avoid bumps", and looks like the original mod thread was also deleted (https://techenclave.com/threads/avoid-bumps.214395/ no longer exists).
I am still not clear about bumping..
Is it allowed, if yest at what frequency and i which forums or topics..
I Beleive a wtb thread should be allowed a bump may be twice a week, its sheer requirement of an individual and he should not be forced to get his request buried, also someone might be urgent need of a particular item..
Rest as the staff feels appropriate..

I am not clear about Wtb thread bumping also.
WTS thread is 1 bump every 2 day/48hrs.

Wait why exactly are bumps not allowed? What if a WTB is 5-6 pages behind but you are still looking for the item?
This seems very counter-productive to me. I think it needs to be modified so it can be used but doesn't get abused.

Kindly excuse but I would like to reiterate this.
Please allow "bumps" from at least some pages back. I want to bring up my old WTB threads but damn do I not want to get a warning for this.

People mentioned what they want on WTB are mostly in hurry to look if they can get the item fast and cheaper here.
And it also actually helps sellers too as they can quickly make the deal.
It infact if you see the situation is more urgent than selling on marketplace as in this case both parties are almost ready.
It should be allows one bump per day given the urgency. But in any case I think at least one bump in 3-4 days or even 7 days( per week) should be allowed.
More than that it is no use.
People who want it urgently can probably wait for few days or a week. then will go out and buy it.

Any progress on this? Agree with what the rest of the people here have mentioned. Creating a WTB and hope the stars align that someone with the right item sees it at the exact right moment is impractical, and pointless. Like @solo_wing mentioned, there is an urgency here with higher degree of deals happening due to mutual interest- that is being fully hindered by this system.
