Madhepura: Motorcycle-borne criminals snatched a bag containing Rs 35,000 from Tuntun Kumar, an employee at a fuel station on the southern outskirts of Madhepura town on Saturday.
Recounting the incident, Kumar said, "Three men on a bike arrived at the fuel station and asked for petrol worth Rs 599. When I filled up the tank and demanded payment, two pillion riders overpowered me at gunpoint and snatched the cash bag. Before anyone, including the staff, could react, they fled on the same motorcycle."
The entire incident was captured on the CCTV cameras installed at the fuel station. Kumar immediately informed the police about the robbery.
SHO of Madhepura police station, Bimlendu Kumar, said, "We have received the complaint and an investigation is underway. Efforts are being made to identify and arrest the criminals involved in the incident."
