Bhubaneswar: In a bid to improve lives of residents, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), in collaboration with United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), launched an online survey on Friday to gather valuable insights about the city.
Aim of the survey is to enhance living in Bhubaneswar through the ‘Quality of Life' initiative. The findings of this survey will guide BMC and UN-Habitat in identifying focus areas and implementing data-driven, people-centric solutions, a govt statement read.
It stated that the survey aims to understand the lived experiences, challenges and priorities of the people of Bhubaneswar to create actionable strategies that align with their needs and aspirations.
Citizens can take part in the survey by visiting the website: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BLLMRPY. The survey consists of 16 questions covering domains like housing, health and well-being, basic services and mobility, environment, economy, social cohesion and governance.
Residents can submit their inputs till 5 pm on Dec 17 and contribute to the transformation of their city.
BMC has appealed to all residents to participate in the important initiative, as collective insights will shape the developmental journey towards transforming the city. Citizens are encouraged to participate in the survey and make their voices heard, the statement read.
