Astra Microwave Products Ltd on Friday, December 13, said its joint venture company Astra Rafael Comsys Pvt. Ltd. has secured an order worth ₹255.88 crore from the defence ministry.
As per the order, the JV company will procure 93 additional sets of software defined radios (SDR) LRUs with A kits, SBC 2 card and network centric operations application for the Su-30 MKI fighter aircraft by the Indian Air Force, the company said in a stock exchange filing.
The contract is to be executed within 24 months.
In August, the company told CNBC-TV18 that it was optimistic about achieving a robust growth in the ongoing fiscal. Our opinion is that we will be doing somewhere between 18 to 22% on an organic basis. This is in conjunction with our LEAP strategy, which we had discussed the last time, which has the potential for further upside as and when it comes in.” Atim Kabra, director of business development and strategy at Astra Microwave, said.
He added that the company was looking at adding between ₹1,200 crore to ₹1,300 crore to this order book this year as well.
Astra Microwave Products shares were trading 3.3% higher at ₹842.5 apiece at 2 pm on Friday, December 13. The stock has gained 39.05% this year, so far.
