Prayagraj: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday said the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Prayagraj was significant for 'Sanatan Dharma' followers.
"It is of utmost importance for all the Sanatan Dharma followers and devotees who have affection for the country. I express my gratitude to the PM on behalf of the citizens of Sangam city, the state, and every visitor of Kumbh for dedicating projects worth thousands of crores today," said Yogi.
He added the 2019 Kumbh was successful due to the inspiration, guidance and ideals of the PM and the same will help make the Maha Kumbh-2025 grand, divine and digital.
"In 2019 Kumbh, devotees got an opportunity to offer prayers to Akshayvat after a gap of hundreds of years due to the efforts of PM Modi. This Maha Kumbh, devotees will see the grand Akshayavat corridor. Devotees will also get to see the grand Bade Hanuman temple corridor built under the guidance of PM," he said.
The CM went on to say that the historic Saraswati Koop, in which Maa Saraswati resides in an invisible form, was first opened for devotees during 2019 Kumbh.
"This time, a grand form of Saraswati Koop will be in front of everyone after the PM inaugurated the Saraswati Corridor today," he said.
Yogi added that the PM also inaugurated the 56-ft high statue of Lord Ram and Nishadraj and the Nishadraj corridor as well as the corridor of Maharishi Bharadwaj's ashram.
The CM added that the development of Sangam city and the surrounding districts are a symbol of PM's inspiration.
Yogi called upon the people of Prayagraj and Uttar Pradesh, including the teams working as volunteers, to take the mega event a grand success.
On this occasion, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, Jal Shakti minister Swatantra Dev Singh, BJP state president Bhupendra Chaudhary, tourism minister Jaiveer Singh, industrial development minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, khadi and village industries minister Rakesh Sachan, energy minister Arvind Kumar Sharma, fisheries minister Sanjay Nishad, transport minister Dayashankar Singh, mayor Ganesh Kesarwani, district panchayat president VK Singh, MLA Siddharth Nath Singh, and other public representatives were also present.
