Cardi B is back in her “bloody” shoes. The rapper was in New York City on Thursday, celebrating the launch of the first Skims store. For the evening, brand co-founder Kim Kardashian invited everyone from Paris Hilton and June Ambrose to Ice Spice and Cardi.

Many of the celebrities opted to wear pieces from the recent linkup between Skims and Dolce & Gabbana. The rapper was one of them, wearing a trench coat over a bodysuit. Both were leopard print which was used heavily in the line. Cardi paired it with a necklace featuring a cross as well as fishnet tights.

For shoes, Cardi and her longtime stylist Kollin Carter kept up the leopard print. They chose a pair of Christian Louboutin pointed-toe pumps. It is Louboutin’s So Kate in a satin. The shoe features a rounded vamp that cuts low on the foot, providing ample cleavage. It also includes a stiletto heel of more than five inches. The So Kate has notably been a major topic of conversation this year in discourse led namely by Zendaya.

Unsurprisingly the footwear boasts a red sole. Originally inspired by red nail polish, all Christian Louboutin shoes feature a red sole. It is a signature of the brand. In her breakout hit “Bodak Yellow,” Cardi identified her heels as “bloody shoes,” a reference to this detail.

Louboutin has made many pumps in a leopard print including the original Kate as well as their Pigalle. The original Kate silhouette, named for supermodel Kate Moss, features a toe that isn’t as sharp as its younger So Kate sister. The vamp of the So Kate is also cut deeper, revealing more of the foot than the Kate silhouette.

In addition to having a sharper toe box, the So Kate features a steeper pitch than the Kate and has a thinner heel than the Pigalle. As a result of the toe box being sharper on the So Kate, it is also longer than the toe box of the Pigalle.

In addition to having a thing for Louboutin heels in general, Cardi B is a bit of a shoe fanatic. She has a penchant for high styles notably wearing Vivienne Westwood’s extraordinarily tall platform court shoes to the Balmain show back in September. Those heels are from the designers 1993 collection. She’s also joined the cult of Marc Jacobs with the brand’s popular Kiki boot which she wore to one of the label’s shows over the summer. For music video she’s gone even taller, opting for brands like Carolin Holzhuber who have created custom designs as tall as 15 inches for her.
