Grzegorz Gajewski is a Polish chess player who was awarded the title of Grandmaster by FIDE in 2006. He has been Gukesh’s trainer for the past two years.

Radoslaw Wojtaszek is a Polish Grandmaster who has previously acted as Viswanathan Anand’s second for his World Championship matches in 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Jan-Krzysztof Duda is a Polish Grandmaster who is ranked first in his country. He acted as a playing partner for Gukesh during Candidates 2024 and assisted him in a couple of training camps.

Jan Klimkowski is a 17-year-old Polish International Master who helped Gajeswki and assisted him in the preparation for the Candidates 2024.

Gukesh said that former five-time World Champion Viswanathan Anand was not officially part of his team but he attended one day of the training camp and also helped him remotely for a few sessions.
