Kanpur: A couple, searching for their 19-year-old daughter missing for past one month, tried to set themselves ablaze outside Police Commissioner's office in Kanpur on Friday. The couple, who had lodged a missing person complaint with Bilhaur police, were allegedly disappointed over police inaction in the case. The couple was detained and brought before the senior officers where they shared their ordeal. Additional deputy commissioner of police west, Vijendra Dwivedi, confirmed that a missing case of a girl was registered at Bilhaur police station. tnn
