Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has received a total of 68,988 impact fee applications, of which 18,197 have been approved, generating an income of Rs 198.35 crore. The AMC standing committee, on Thursday, approved a proposal to contract out manpower to scrutinise the application. Of the applications received, 35,903 have been rejected, while 14,888 are still under process. The South Zone received the highest number, 13,940, of applications. Of these, 2,564 were approved and 5,284 rejected. In the West Zone, 11,721 applications were received, with 4,253 approved and 4,594 rejected.
