Gorakhpur: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday directed the officials to crack down on land encroachers and ensure justice for the poor, adopting a zero-tolerance stance against land mafias and bullies.
The CM met 200 people at the Janata Darshan in the Gorakhnath Temple premises and stressed that no wrongdoer would be spared.
He listened to grievances of people and instructed the officials to resolve cases promptly. Several women raised the issues of land grabbing, prompting CM Yogi to order stringent legal action against those exploiting the weak. "As long as I'm in power, no one can displace the poor," he assured.
The CM also extended financial aid for medical treatments, directing officials to fast-track assistance under the government schemes. He emphasized distributing Ayushman cards to ensure hassle-free healthcare.
CM Yogi distributed chocolates among the children accompanying the attendees and gave them blessings.
