Kanpur: YMCC defeated Sporting Union by 6 wickets and advanced to the final of Satyaveer Gupta Memorial cricket tournament being played at Rashtriya Cricket Academy ground, Kidwai Nagar on Wednesday.
Sporting Union, batting first, scored 158 runs in 34.2 overs.
Arpit Awasthi (62) and Lokesh Sahu (38 not out) were the principal scorers. Tanveer Ahmad and Aman Tiwari claimed 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
YMCC successfully chased down the target, scoring 159 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 25.5 overs. Amar Pandey and Ayush Shukla contributed 61 and 32 runs respectively.

Mishra Cricket - VIII th Pt Dinesh Mishra T-20 cricket tournament will be organised by the Cricketers Club at Kanpur South ground from Dec 18.
According to Sanjay Dixit, eight senior division teams of Kanpur Cricket Association will participate in this tournament. The teams are host Kanpur Cricketers, Kanpur South, KDMA, Khandekar Academy, Diamond Club, Olympic Club and KCC.
