Rama Devi Kashyap, a resident of the Naka area, has filed a police complaint accusing a local goon, Kishan Sonkar, and his associates of threatening her and her son, preventing them from earning a livelihood. She claimed that Sonkar, previously externed from the city due to his criminal record, had resumed illegal activities. In her complaint, Rama Devi said that on Dec 6, around 12:15 pm, her son received a threatening phone call from Kishan Sonkar, who reportedly said he would ensure they couldn't earn a living and would file numerous false cases against her son to keep him confined at home. The next day, Sonkar allegedly came to her home, armed with a pistol, and threatened her elder son, Anshu, with death. SHO Naka, Virendra Tripathi, said an FIR had been registered and probe was on.
