Kanpur: Former President Ram Nath Kovind landed at Chakeri Airport in Kanpur on Tuesday and proceeded directly to the Circuit House.
He is scheduled to attend a ceremony as the chief guest on Dec 11 to commemorate the 140th anniversary of the JK Group. On Dec 12, he will depart from Chakeri Airport for Paraunkh, where he will lay the foundation stone for Sarvodaya Girls School.
Extensive security arrangements have been made at the Circuit House. ADCP Traffic and three ACP Traffic officers are overseeing the route security between the Circuit House and the event venue.
