Ludhiana: With the announcement of MC elections by the State Election Commission on Sunday, the code of conduct came into force in the state and the MC immediately started removing boards of opposition political parties in the city. However, boards extolling achievements of the AAP govt have not been removed yet. BJP district president Rajnesh Dhiman slammed the AAP govt over shoddy implementation of the code of conduct. He asked MC officials to explain on whose orders boards of the state govt were not being taken down. Dhiman quipped that for the state govt, the code of conduct seemed to apply only to opposition parties.
