TOBYHANNA, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say a man was arrested after he started a standoff with officers and fled from the window of a home.

According to the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department, on Monday, December 9 around 1:00 a.m. officers were called for a welfare check at Vista Drive in Tobyhanna.

Officers said they were told a domestic dispute was happening inside a home where 21-year-old Donti Jackson had pointed a gun at family members. The family was able to safely exit the house after Jackson threatened to not let anyone leave, police stated.
