NCT’s Mark is now preparing for the release of his debut solo album. Fans’ reactions to this new update, however, have been conflicting. Although his new single will be released in December as planned, SM Entertainment recently announced that the release date has been rescheduled, according to a recent media report.
Mark’s first full-length album was originally scheduled to debut in February 2025, but SM Entertainment stated on December 9 that it will now debut in April. According to the agency, the decision to improve the overall quality of the eagerly awaited release was finally decided post extensive discussion with the artist. They have urged supporters to have patience and anticipate the NCT member’s impassioned songs.
“We sincerely apologize to fans who have been waiting for Mark’s solo album. We will work hard to prepare and return with an even better album,” the agency stated.
The forthcoming single ahead his album release, will be Mark’s first solo release. With NCT DREAM’s most recent album, DREAMSCAPE, and its lead track, “When I’m With You,” the K-pop idol recently returned to the spotlight.
Mark Lee, who goes by Mark, is a member of the well-known boy band NCT and all of its subgroups. As a member of NCT U, he began his K-pop career in April 2016 alongside Doyoung, Taeyong, Ten, and Jaehyun.
He joined NCT 127 three months later, followed by NCT DREAM. Along with his bandmate Tayeong, SHINee’s Taemin, EXO’s Baekhyun, Kai, WayV’s Ten, and previous member Lucas, he joined SuperM in August 2019.
